BIO
Anathi trained for four years at the University of Cape Town where she studied towards a BA Theatre and Performance degree in the bilingual acting stream. Her love for voice work started way before that, in 2015 she performed at the Grahamstown National Arts festival in a physically striking production of The Metamorphosis, here the voice was stylized in a grotesque manner which was such a freeing experience for her as the actor and this is where her love for voice work began.
She has obtained two certificates from the Trinity College London drama exams where she obtained her grade 5 with distinction and grade 7 with merit.
Anathi is intrigued by how far and wide the actors voice can go and how the voice on its own can tell a beautifully imaginative story.
