Caitlyn Haywood is a UCT graduate who has had voice coaching from the likes of Sara Matchett (focusing on breathwork), Idette Rauch (voice and singing), Morne Steyn (Lessac Kinesthetics) and Lesoko Seabe. She excels in American and British accents and prides herself in her ability to graft stories and textures with her voice through sheer authenticity. Her curiosity towards people has led to her learning Spanish which has impacted the way she approaches character and life experience through her voice. She has dabbled in both children’s theatre and comic book style theatre which has given her the ability to set the scene vocally through sounds. Previous vocal experience includes vocal mise-en-scene as well as vocal graphics facilitated by Sara Matchett.
