BIO
Dean Ricky Goldblum is a South African born Actor, Voice Artist and Musician raised in the City of Gold, Johannesburg.
At 13 years old, Dean's Television career began as a singer/musician on SABC 3's 'Little Stars' (2013). Thereafter, Dean went on to perform on South Africa's Got Talent (2015) in which he was described by Etv as "melting the hearts [of] the young at heart across the country".
In between playing roles on stage and screen, Dean began doing commerical voice and acting work for clients such as Hippo Insurance (2016/2017). A campaign that was broadcast on radio stations and TV screens across South Africa.
In 2021, Dean played the part of the Crime Bandits Podcast Host in the modern reimagining of the original 1982 slasher film Slumber Party Massacre (2021).
A classically trained acting graduate of the University of Cape Town’s Drama School, Dean feels right at home across all mediums of performance and communication.
Meaningful connection leads to lucrative business, and Dean is committed in bridging the gap between story, character, client, audience and product by using his voice.
Dean has received voice and dialect coaching from multiple practitioners, including Robyn Scott, Morné Steyn, Sara Matchett, Stephen Jennings, Rehane Abrahams, Juliet Jenkin, Sive Gubanxa and Claire Berlein.
