Tanaka Gava

Tanaka is an actress, voice over artiste and model, and has been since about 2018.

In 2018 she did a year-long campaign with Sanlam, celebrating their 100th birthday. In the same year Tanaka featured as Gracie Green Fingers, in a series for Checkers Supermarkets called “Checkers Little Shop” .

More recently she did a TVC and web commercial, voiceover work, and stills for Sanlam’s Savings Jar campaign. Her modelling portfolio boasts stills for MrPrice; Pep; Ackermans; Woolworths; Exact; and Middle Daughter London. She’s done voice over work for Checkers’ Little Shop campaign, as well as for their sustainability TVC; Sanlam; and Vodacom. She’s currently the host of DreamWorks’ Inspiration Station as of 2023.
